A Christ-led connection of industry-recognized singer/songwriters, AsOne comes as a breath of fresh air to contemporary Christian music. Making history as music’s first ever interracial female duo, the pair – comprised of music veterans Lisa Wright and Theresa Bailey – shine as an emblem of racial harmony and unity, a much-needed symbol of hope in the wake of racially charged tragedies in the country. It comes as no coincidence that themes of hope and unity are commonplace in their music, a feat evidenced by their debut single “Hero,” featuring Stellar-nominated gospel trailblazers Lamar Campbell & Spirit of Praise.

Accompanied by a lyric video and documentary as captivating as the song itself the anthemic tune’s message of God’s triumphant and undefeatable love rings boldly with the help of both visuals that breathes new life into its already animated composition – which boasts a moving guitar arrangement and the powerful vocals of the group’s members Lisa Wright and Theresa Bailey.

Themes of hope and encouragement, like that found in “Hero,” are commonplace for the duo – as evidenced by their new exclusive documentary “United.” In it, viewers not only get up, close, and personal with Wright and Bailey respectively, but also learn how the group came to be, their mission of racial harmony, and even get exclusive sneak peeks behind the scenes at their creativity and chemistry in the studio.
